A minimalist lifestyle in harmony with nature

"Do we really use or need all that we have? Are we dedicating our time and money to what really matters?"

These are the questions that motivated the Tiny House movement. Most people have lost touch with what holds meaning for them and instead have dived into an endless stream of wanting more: more belongings, more money, more space, more distractions. But with that desire comes unwanted stress, pressure and anxiety. A Tiny House takes that pressure off by living only with what we truly need to be happy. It allows us to get back in touch with nature, disconnect to reconnect with our surroundings and free ourselves from unnecessary hassles. Distractions in a Tiny House also exist, but they come in different forms with a positive impact on our wellbeing: the sounds of the waves, the birds' serenades, the sun setting. A pleasant alternative to the TV with its never-ending advertisements and the cars honking down the street.

The Tiny House movement also advocates living freely in a way that supports your lifestyle and that respects nature. You might be a surfer who needs to live near a surf spot. Or a tree lover who prefers living near a forest. Choosing the right location for your Tiny House is essential, but keep in mind that you can always move it later - and that's the beauty of Tiny Houses!

The MYDAR community

In Lebanon, we are the first initiative to try to promote Tiny Houses with the hope of building a community that embraces a shift from consumer-driven mindsets to living more freely. We're working on creating a village of Tiny Houses to host this community and we're looking for people to join the movement!
